As part of the University of Waterloo Satellite design team (UWOrbital) developing the Electrical Power System (EPS) for the satellite. My main role focuses on developing the firmware for the EPS MCU which will be responsible for operating the Battery Management System, the Maximun Power Point Tracking algorithm and reporting telemetry data to the Satellite's onboard computer (OBC). The firmware is developed using the Zephyr RTOS utilizing a Linux (Ubuntu) development environment with STM32 development boards for initial prototyping.
